Q: Do I need to make an appointment to try on wedding gowns?
A: In or for us to give you full attention of our bridal stylists, appointments are necessary.
Q: How long are bridal appointments?
A: Our bridal appointments are approximately one and a half hours.
Q: What Should I Bring to my appointment?
A: We would love if you brought pictures of gowns you’ve seen on our website, in magazines, or that you’ve seen at another salon. Remember: Bring an open mind, don’t be surprised if one of our Bridal Sylists finds “the dress” that you would’ve never taken into consideration. We have undergarments and shoes available, but feel free to bring your own if those will be the ones you will be wearing on your big day!
Q: What Size Gowns are available to try on?
A: Majority of our sample gowns are the traditional sample size which is sz10, but we also carry a very wide array of gowns that go from 18-24.
Q: When should I order my veil and or headpiece?
A: Depending on if your veil or headpiece is a special order which may take more time. Although we do have an onsite full alterations department that is very capable of making anything you need!
Q: How far in advance should I purchase my wedding gown?
A: We usually say the sooner the better but by a general rule of thumb you should order between 6-8 months before your wedding depending on manufacturer and your stylist could give you more clarification on this.
Q: How Many Fittings do I need?
A: Usually a bride requires 2-3 fittings to ensure the perfect look. After the final fitting, we then press and ensure your gown is perfect to be taken home.
Q: What is a trunk show?
A: A trunk show is an in store event usually lasting over a weekend in which the designer and or their representative will come in. And you can view, try on, and purchase a specific gown from a certain manufacturer that we may not normally carry in stock.
Q: What if I have a rush wedding?
A: It’s not too late! We have plenty of gowns that are available for purchase right off the rack, also depending on the time you need the gown some of our suppliers offer rush shipping so that may be an option.
